Dunkin’, the iconic American coffee and doughnut brand, is making its debut in France with the opening of its first two locations in Paris this May. The launch marks a significant expansion into one of Europe’s most discerning food markets and signals Dunkin’s intent to establish a strong presence in the region.
First Two Stores Opening in Paris
The company’s flagship store will officially open its doors on May 14 at 19 Boulevard Montmartre, a prominent location in central Paris. Spanning 200 square meters, the store will serve as a model for future openings across the country. Shortly afterward, a second location is set to open at 13 Rue d’Amsterdam, near Gare Saint-Lazare, one of Paris’s busiest commuter hubs.
Product Offering
French customers can expect a diverse menu that blends American-style indulgence with local tastes. The stores will feature:
- 18 varieties of doughnuts, priced between €2.50 and €3.70
- Coffee and espresso-based drinks
- Breakfast sandwiches
- Cold beverages and snacks
The menu is designed to appeal to both commuters looking for a quick coffee and tourists or locals seeking a sweet treat throughout the day.

Expansion Plans
According to Jean-Wilfrid Thibault, head of Dunkin’ France, the company has ambitious plans for growth. “We plan to open several dozen stores between 2025 and 2026 in Paris and the Île-de-France region, before expanding into other metropolitan areas,” he said in an interview with Capital.
Franchise Partnership with QSRP
Dunkin’s entry into the French market is being led through a strategic franchise partnership between its parent company, Inspire Brands, and QSRP Group, a fast-food operator with deep experience in the European foodservice sector. QSRP now holds the master franchise rights to develop and scale Dunkin’ across France.
Competitive Landscape
Dunkin’s arrival comes less than a year after fellow U.S. brand Krispy Kreme opened its first Paris location in 2023. As France’s café and bakery culture continues to evolve, Dunkin’ is positioning itself as a modern, grab-and-go alternative in a market known for its traditional boulangeries and coffeehouses.
