Bershka is an established Inditex fashion business with documented regional retail partnerships. For an investor, the commercial case rests on a young customer base, suitable retail locations and the ability to manage fast-moving fashion inventory. A credible partner proposal connects those elements to a funded development plan.

Bershka’s reported business scale
Inditex’s FY2025 results, covering the year ended 31 January 2026, provide brand-level figures:
| Bershka measure | Reported result |
|---|---|
| FY2025 net sales | €3.286 billion |
| FY2024 net sales | €2.930 billion |
| FY2025 selling space | 493,680 square metres |
Revenue increased by approximately 12.2%, calculated from the two reported sales figures. These figures describe the Bershka concept as a whole; they are not franchisee sales, store-level margins or a proposed investor’s return.
Does Bershka work with franchise partners?
Yes. Azadea identifies Bershka in its retail portfolio, providing a concrete example of a regional partner relationship. Its 19 February 2026 Iraq announcement included Bershka among the brands entering Iraq Mall.
Separately, Inditex’s 2025 business review records Bershka’s first stores in India, Denmark and Sweden during that year. Those openings establish expansion activity; they do not, by themselves, identify a franchise structure or an available territory in those markets.
The commercial proposition for an operator
The investment case should demonstrate a customer catchment large enough to support repeat fashion purchases, with a price position that remains competitive after import costs. The operator needs to connect local demand to the brand’s merchandising calendar, rather than relying on recognition alone.
Our review focuses on the proposed sites, management team and inventory discipline. Strong retail presentation attracts the customer; stock availability, size coverage and consistent service convert that demand into sales. An investor seeking several stores must explain how these standards will be supervised across the network.
Bershka franchise cost and working capital
There is no verified worldwide Bershka franchise fee or standard per-store investment quotation in the sources cited here. The correct budget follows the actual store specification, territory agreement and supply terms.
Include the lease deposit, fit-out, fixtures, lighting, signage, technology, opening stock and pre-opening payroll. Then fund replenishment, seasonal inventory, marketing and the operating period before break-even. A development agreement also requires capital for future openings and the central team supporting them.
Working capital must be modelled by month. Opening inventory, supplier payment dates, delivery lead times and markdown periods create cash demands that an annual profit forecast can conceal. A profitable annual projection is not sufficient if the business runs out of cash between deliveries and sales.
Five questions that strengthen the investment case
- Which catchments have the customer density and spending power to support the proposed stores?
- What is the margin after product supply, freight, duties, returns and markdowns?
- How will stock be allocated, replenished and transferred between locations?
- Which physical and online channels are included in the proposed rights?
- How are opening milestones, refurbishment obligations and renewal conditions funded?
These are Star Brands’ investment-review questions. They define the evidence and negotiation agenda; they are not presented as a standard Bershka contract.
What Star Brands prepares for investors
Star Brands Consulting Group develops the market-entry case, tests the financial model and assembles the operator dossier. For Bershka, that means a clear youth-fashion market assessment, a credible site sequence, an inventory and logistics plan, and proof that the investor can fund and manage the rollout.
Industry relationships are useful when they connect a qualified proposal to the appropriate counterparty. They do not replace territory verification or the brand’s approval process.
