Global fragrance and personal care powerhouse Bath & Body Works is reinforcing its brick-and-mortar retail strategy in 2025 with two new store openings in key regional markets—Sioux City, Iowa and Gig Harbor, Washington. These openings reflect the brand’s continued focus on immersive in-store experiences, innovative retail design, and geographic expansion across mid-size U.S. markets.

1. Lakeport Commons, Sioux City, Iowa

Bath & Body Works is set to open a new 4,200-square-foot location at Lakeport Commons, one of Sioux City’s busiest retail centers. The new store will complement the company’s existing Southern Hills Mall location, which will remain open.

According to Bath & Body Works spokesperson Jada Miles, “This location will feature the brand’s latest store design, which includes new technology offerings, elevated design elements, and more.”

The store will occupy a smaller subdivided space within a building formerly home to Fred Meyer Marketplace, marking a new chapter in the development of Gig Harbor’s retail scene.

What This Means for Retail Growth & Franchising

These strategic rollouts highlight Bath & Body Works’ commitment to localized retail experiences and the power of premium self-care categories to drive in-store footfall and repeat visits.
