On August 22, 2025, H&M opened a 15,000 sqft, two-level flagship store at The Original Farmers Market in Los Angeles.

The new format offers a “curated customer journey”, creating a gallery-like atmosphere where each display, room, and window tells a unique fashion story.

Modern Retail Experience

The flagship features translucent display walls, fluted stucco surfaces, and modular fixtures that embody H&M’s evolving design direction. The location also houses special collections such as H&M Studio and high-profile designer collaborations.

Technology enhances the customer experience with RFID-enabled systems, ensuring precise inventory management, faster replenishment, and smoother shopping. Customers benefit from mobile checkout and in-store pickup for online orders, highlighting H&M’s omnichannel strategy.

“H&M’s debut at The Original Farmers Market will serve as the first of several new store openings planned throughout the year,” said Michael Beaumont, Head of Expansion for H&M Americas.


H&M Expands into Brazil with São Paulo Store

Just days later, on August 25, 2025, H&M entered a new market with the opening of its first Brazilian store at the Iguatemi Shopping Centre in São Paulo.

At the same time, H&M launched its e-commerce platform in Brazil, marking the first-ever dual launch of both a physical store and online presence in a new market.

“This is a historic moment for H&M, and I am thrilled that we are finally here,” said Daniel Erver, CEO of H&M Group. “Bringing H&M to Brazil is more than just a market launch; it is about building a lasting connection with a country that inspires us.”

With Brazil added to its portfolio, H&M now operates in 79 markets with stores and 61 markets online.
