Mango Expands with Berlin Flagship and Launches Recycled Teen Capsule with The Post Fiber

Mango Fashion

Global fashion powerhouse Mango has made a powerful dual statement this month—furthering both its sustainability mission and international retail dominance.

As part of its 2024–2026 strategic roadmap, the Barcelona-based brand has opened a striking flagship store in Berlin, while simultaneously launching a sustainability-forward capsule collection in collaboration with textile recycling start-up The Post Fiber.

A New Berlin Landmark: Mango’s Flagship Store

Located just steps away from Berlin’s historic Brandenburg Gate at 88–89 Friedrichstrasse, Mango’s latest store is 1,100 square meters of Mediterranean elegance. Under the brand’s “New Med” concept, the store merges:

  • Natural materials
  • Soft, warm color palettes
  • Architectural harmony

It’s not just about aesthetics. The flagship unites three core collections—Woman, Man, and Kids—making it a true showcase of Mango’s complete offering in one of Europe’s fashion capitals.

“This opening marks a significant step in our growth strategy,” said Daniel López, Mango’s Director of Expansion and Franchising. “We’re proud to deepen our presence in Berlin by delivering the full Mango experience under one roof.”

Mango in Germany (as of 2024):

  • 450+ stores nationwide
  • 6 stores in Berlin
  • 10 new openings planned for 2025, including a Munich flagship and Hannover renovation

Partnering with The Post Fiber: Innovation Meets Sustainability

Mango has also taken a bold step into circular fashion by investing in The Post Fiber, a start-up transforming post-consumer textile waste into reusable fibers. This partnership has led to the launch of a Teen capsule collection featuring:

10 limited-edition garments
80% recycled fibers, with 15% directly from The Post Fiber’s waste processing
Dyed using eco-friendly Pigmentura technology, reducing water and energy use

“Sustainability is a long-standing commitment at Mango,” noted Andrés Fernández, Director of Sustainability and Sourcing. “This collaboration is about reshaping the industry through circularity.”

Additionally, Berta Moral, Director of Mango Teen and Kids, will join The Post Fiber’s board, further embedding the partnership into Mango’s operations.

Meanwhile across the Atlantic, Mango continues its U.S. retail surge, recently opening its 50th store in the country at Washington Square in Portland, Oregon. This location features:

  • Mango Woman line
  • Mediterranean-inspired interior with handcrafted materials

Mango has opened 8 U.S. stores in 2025 alone, entering new states including Nevada, New Mexico, Washington, and Oregon. By the end of 2025, Mango plans to hit 65 U.S. stores, with future launches in:

  • Chicago’s North Michigan Avenue
  • South Coast Plaza, California

“The U.S. is already a top-five market for Mango and our leading online market,” said Daniel López. “By 2026, we expect the U.S. to rank among our top three global markets by revenue.”
